With plans such as 1GB for just ₦500, the internet bundles highlighted in this post would serve you right if you an Etisalat subscriber and you are looking to get the most out of their internet service.

Daily Data Plans
Looking to access the internet on Etisalat for only 24 hours?

These bundles will let you do just that without implanting a hole in your pocket.

10MB for ₦50
Ok, compared to the 30MB Globacom offers you for this same price, this is appalling but it’s a nice improvement from what used to be possible.

With a validity of just one day, you get 10MB to surf the internet on Etisalat for just ₦50.

50MB for ₦100

If ₦100 is all you have to surf the net with, you’re entitled to 50MB on Etisalat. That 50MB is valid for 24hours.

Weekly Data Plans

7 days kind of stuff.

200MB for ₦200
How they came to conclude on offering this particular bundle still baffles me as “normal” weekly bundles are typically around the ₦500 mark (that’s what we are used to). But hell! It’s a good deal anyways.

At ₦200, you will be allotted 200MB which is valid for 7 days.

Weekend Plan

Airtel was the one who started this “dedicated weekend plan madness” offering 1Gb for 100#, then GLO followed suit and introduced a night + weekend hybrid at a really reasonable price. Now, here’s what Etisalat has to offer.

1GB for ₦500
Relative to other weekend plans, this one may still be on the higher end of the price spectrum for most folks – Hell, Glo offers 3Gb for this same amount!

But most users would agree with me that Etisalat’s internet connection is more reliable than other mobile network providers’ in most locations in Nigeria.

For ₦500, you have access to the internet (capped at 1GB) for one weekend – between Friday 11:59PM and Sunday 11:59PM.

Monthly Data Plans

Long term things

500MB for ₦500
Go and look anywhere else, Etisalat is the only network provider in Nigeria that has a monthly data offering for this price.

With such entry level price for a monthly subscription, this plan is targeted towards very light internet users (Nairaland and the punch crew) who have very basic internet needs.

Sometimes, I think of this plan as Etisalat's answer to Airtel opera mini bundle (which gives 250MB for ₦300 valid for a month and usable only on Opera Mini) or Facebook’s Free Basics (free access to the internet, courtesy Airtel) with media.

This plan is valid for 30 days.

To get this bundle,

1GB for ₦1,000

Nothing new, not mind blowing, just normal. With “a thousand naira” you could be 1GB richer for 30days.

Compared to the competition, this is poor (I know), but that’s why there’s the competition. You have many better options.

1.5GB for ₦1,200

Etisalat does not deem it fit for folks who have just a thousand naira to enjoy what is being enjoyed from most of the other network providers.

Typically, for ₦200 less, 1.5GB is what you get from MTN and Airtel.

Glo even offers 3.2GB for that amount!

Lo and behold, on Etisalat, you pay more, and get far less.

To get 1.5GB on Etisalat for ₦1.2k;

2.5GB for ₦2,000

Years back, if someone had told me that “Etisalat of all people” would possess an internet bundle such as this in their catalog, I would have rebuked the person.

Super fast internet service is getting cheap in the Nation – It’s the only thing getting cheap though (Buhari!!).

Where do I start complaining from?

A few weeks ago, I was happy Etisalat was suddenly getting cheaper and then bam!

The prices shoot up again.

The 2.5GB plan is valid for a month and costs just ₦2k.

To get this plan,

Dial *229*2*8#

3.5GB for ₦2,500

*sighs*

To opt-in;

Dial *229*2*26#

5GB for ₦3,500

To be honest, I’m tempted to talk about Glo data plans here (again).

Why?

Cos, for this same amount you could get more than double the amount of data. But I will not talk about Glo ( ), this article is for Etisalat and Etisalat alone.

Ok, Etisalat tried sha, at least compared to the amount of the data that used to be tagged to this same amount, 5GB is an improvement.

Valid for 30 days, 5GB could be yours so long as you can drop “just” ₦3,500 on the table for Etisalat.

To subscribe,

11.5GB for ₦8,000

See en, I will not talk too much about this plan – I’m already talking sef

The plan is valid for 30 days (like the others).

To opt in,

It should be noted however that Etisalat still has more internet bundles on their catalog; these were just the only ones I saw as reasonable. To view all Etisalat internet bundles, Visit their official web page.

Also, data rollover applies to all the bundles outlined in this article.

Although, the pricing of these bundles are an improvement from what we have always gotten from the typical Etisalat they are still slightly more expensive than what you can get elsewhere.
