How many days it takes bots to crawl a sitemap

How many days it takes bots to crawl a sitemap

XML sitemap is a file or document that helps search engines to understand your website while crawling.

Many bloggers that I do chat with on whatsapp, always ask me "how many days it will take for XML sitemap to be processed" by Google bot or Bing bot.

So I have decided to answer that question here today, so grab a cup of coffee or tea, and we shall continue. You will know what you have always wanted to know today.

So my answer is that as long as you have submitted your sitemap to  Google search console your site might be crawled and indexed immediately, according to how many posts you have on your blog.

But sometimes, it depends on crawlers and your website updates, some bloggers do submit their sitemap and be waiting for Google bot or Bing bot to crawl and index their website, no! You are wrong.

The more your posts, the more Google bot or Bing bot crawl and index your website, but if you keep waiting for the bots to crawl and index your website without updating it regularly, It may take about 2-3 days or a week for a sitemap submission to be approved, crawled and indexed.
